VALE Peter Michaelson

We have heard from NWG member Jorian Catzel that following a freak swimming accident on Thursday afternoon at Flat Rock, North Bondi, Peter sustained injuries so severe that nothing could be done and he passed away peacefully yesterday at St Vincent’s Hospital.

While Peter was a superb swimmer he was unassuming about it, with kind words for everyone, no matter their swimming ability. He will be missed.

His wife, daughter and his many friends were all there at the hospital.

We wish his wife and daughter a Long Life.

Peter’s funeral will be held at Macquarie Cemetery, Corner Delhi and Plassey Roads, at 2pm tomorrow, Wednesday Feb 8th at 2pm.

The entrance is from Plassey Road, meet at the Ohel Chaim Chapel.

There will be one night of prayers (minyan) at 7.30pm that evening (Wed 8th) at 37 Lancaster Road, Dover Heights.
