Coaches Guide Swimmers to Success in 2025
Warringah Masters Swimming Club is set for a strong 2025 season, thanks in large part to its dedicated and qualified coaching team. Every Wednesday evening (7:15-8:15 PM) and Sunday morning (8:00-9:00 AM) at the Warringah Aquatic Centre, swimmers benefit from the expertise of coaches accredited through the Masters Swimming Australia (MSA) Club Coach Accreditation Program.
"Our coaches are the backbone of our training," Club Fitness Director and long-time coach Gordon Whyte said. "They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring every swimmer receives guidance, whether they're focusing on stroke technique, building endurance, or preparing for competition."
Coaches expertly guide swimmers through diverse sessions and specialised race training sessions in the lead up to state and national events. Lane assignments are carefully managed by the coaches, ensuring swimmers are grouped with those of similar ability, fostering a supportive and progressive training environment.
The club is also keen to nurture new coaching talent, encouraging interested members to reach out. With their focus on safety, technique, and fostering a positive atmosphere, Warringah Masters' coaching team is poised to help swimmers achieve their personal bests in 2025.
