New club committee elected at AGM
The club's Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 3rd March 2024 and a new committee was elected to lead the club into 2024 and beyond. Stewart Heys is now the President of the club, taking over from long-serving President Graham Campbell. Stewart was previously the club’s Vice President and is also a member of the coaching team.
Graham retires from the role of President which he held for the last eleven years and the club thanks him for his outstanding efforts in leadership, especially guiding the club through challenging times during the Covid pandemic.
In his final Annual Report he extended his thanks to everyone in the Club for their support and friendship over the last eleven years saying “You are a great bunch of people and I hope that you will give as much support to our next President.”
In other news, long-standing club member Bridget Cook took over the role of Social Director. Bridget is a former editor of the Waves newsletter back in good ‘ole print days.
